The place to be in Miami for New Year's Eve was Pitbull’s New Year’s Revolution and PBTV was happy to join, providing our client Lock & Key Productions with LED screens, LightSlice and LED flooring for the show.
PBTV worked closely with Production Designer Anne Brahic of lucki designs, inc. and Screens Producer Laura Frank from Luminous FX to create a visually stunning set that used creative LED products, including three 5.9mm LED Floor Systems, 170 meters of DigitLED Lighslice, and enough digiLED MK7 7mm panels to make two 32' x 20' video wing walls and a 60' x 30' upstage wall. Transparent digiLED MC15 panels were used for the two massive "hourglass" set pieces that framed the stage. Brahic's dynamic video-driven design engaged both the revelers at Bayfront Park and the broadcast audience.
Anne said, "Pete's is one of my go to vendors. They are always ready to roll up their sleeves and figure out what the best gear is for each application. The new 5.9mm floor system was great and the LightSlice product was also a great discovery for me."
Laura Frank adds, "The Pete’s team were very responsive in pre-production and well prepared on site. We had challenging working conditions outdoors in the heat, but everyone was committed to putting together an excellent show and the screens looked great and worked well. The LightSlices and Floor products we’re very effective accents in Anne’s set.”
